These could be dangerous to the user as well as equipment. About a year after buying the BBHS I happened to come across a warning email by BAADER that warned to NOT use the BBHS diagonals for Ha due to the additional radiation it apsses as a result of coatings. As a result I used my other two diagonals. I had planned on using my new BBHS BAADER diagonal with my favorite Ha setup but luckiily it wouldn't quite reach focus with some of my eyepieces due to a bit more back focus with the click lock (excellent device though normally). with Coronado Ha and Lunt Ha scopes, Day Star, Ha, and BAADER Cool Cermaic Hershel Wedge.
Oters have noted this also.īUT.here is the scary part. The BAADER does give a bit more on planets and DS probably due to wider range of frequencies it passes. I also have Astro Physics and a Hutech 2"ĭiagonals. I use this with a few scopes from 80mm to 152mm APO refractors, 14 View All Adapters & Imaging Accessories.Collimation Tools, Cleaning and Maintenance Products.Barlow lenses, Coma- and Glaspathcorrectors.Special eyepieces (Guiding, Diascope etc.).
